Cinnamon Honey Butter Gift Jar

I love to give the secretaries at my school a home made gift for the holidays, and I think it may be this delicious Cinnamon Honey Butter with a pack of shortbread cookies this year.  Traditional Cinnamon Honey Butter, like this one at TidyMom.net uses confectioner's sugar to both sweeten and thicken the spread.  For people following a grain free and refined sugar free diet, eliminating the confectioner's sugar (made of sugar and corn starch) worked well in this recipe.  The finished product is darker because I added more cinnamon (I love lots of cinnamon) and allowing it time to cool in the fridge produced a thick, spreadable butter.
